Ear-cropping is a personal choice and many countries have banned the practice. Here is a guide that was sent to me a few years ago by Villa Setti Kennels. I have included it on my website in order to assist owners, that are considering ear cropping their Neapolitan Mastiff. Although the Neapolitan Mastiff is equally beautiful with cropped or natural ears...a bad ear crop can spoil this look of a beautiful puppy. I think this is a great guide to follow for the proper ear crop for the Neapolitan Mastiff. Cropping MUST ONLY be done by a qualified veterinarian.
